Overview
Whenever a coin catches fire on pump.fun, lookalikes show up beside it and drain its attention, holders and liquidity. Twinflame flips that around: new launches feed the older coin rather than compete with it.
A coin launched here is a regular pump.fun coin with a single twist. It trades against another token, its pair, in place of SOL. Two things follow:
- Every buy lifts the pair. A trader's SOL is swapped into the pair token first, through that token's own market, and only then used to buy the new coin.
- Every creator fee burns the pair. Pump.fun pays a coin's creator fees in its pair token, and Twinflame burns all of it.
Twinflame charges nothing. Pump.fun's normal protocol fee applies, exactly as it does on any other coin.
Custom pairs
Pump.fun uses the term custom pair for a coin that trades against something other than SOL or USDC. Twinflame launches custom pairs only. Here is what you can pair with:
- Any pump.fun coin that trades against SOL or USDC, whether it is still on its bonding curve or has already moved to PumpSwap.
- Any token on pump.fun's approved custom pair list, such as tokenized stocks, BONK, PUMP, Fartcoin and others they have added.
And here is what is off the table:
- A coin that is already paired with another pump.fun coin. Pump.fun permits one level of pairing.
- A coin that graduated to Raydium, unless pump.fun has put it on its list.
- Mayhem mode coins, plus SOL and USDC themselves.
The pair is fixed the moment a coin is created. It cannot be swapped out later.
Launching
A launch is a single transaction, just like on pump.fun. You approve it once in your wallet and it does two jobs at the same time:
- Creates the coin on pump.fun against your chosen pair, with the coin's burner set as its creator (see Fees and burns).
- Places your first buy, if you want one, from your wallet back to your wallet. It sits in the same transaction as the creation, so nobody can get in ahead of you.
Options
| Pair | Search for a coin, paste its address, or choose from the popular list. It is checked against pump.fun's rules on chain before you sign. |
|---|---|
| Creator fee | Standard, 0.3%, 1%, 2% or 3%. Standard follows pump.fun's own schedule. A higher rate burns more of the pair on each trade but costs traders more. You set it at launch. |
| First buy | Optional, in SOL, up to 10 SOL. Your SOL is routed into the pair and then into your coin in one swap, with fees charged once. It is offered when the pair is a pump.fun coin. Coins paired with a token from pump.fun's list launch without it. Slippage is set by Twinflame. |
| Name and ticker | A name of up to 32 characters and a ticker of up to 10 letters or numbers. An image is required: PNG, JPG, WebP or GIF, up to 4 MB. |
Good to know
- Every coin's address ends in
twin. - The full transaction, first buy included, is simulated before you are asked to sign. If pump.fun would reject any part of it, you see the reason and nothing is sent.
- You cover the network fee and pump.fun's account rent (a few hundredths of a SOL), plus whatever you spend on the first buy.
- Each wallet can prepare up to 10 launches per day.
Fees and burns
Pump.fun sends each coin's creator fee to that coin's creator, denominated in the pair token. On Twinflame, the creator of every coin is its own burner: an address controlled by the Twinflame burner program and derived from the coin's address. It has no private key.
The burner program
The program has one instruction, burn, which destroys everything its burner holds. It has no withdraw, no transfer, no admin role and no settings. Anyone is free to call it.
The burn cycle
- Traders buy and sell the coin, and each trade's creator fee collects on the coin's curve (or in its pool after graduation).
- Every 5 minutes, the Twinflame keeper checks the fees waiting on each coin.
- Once a coin has $0.10 or more waiting (or once a day for smaller amounts), one transaction sweeps the fees, moves them into the burner and burns the lot.
- The burn appears on the home page and the coin's page, showing the exact amount and linking to the transaction.
The keeper only pays the network fee. It never holds or touches the fees. Each step is a public instruction anyone could send, so burns would carry on even if Twinflame went offline.
Graduation
As with any pump.fun coin, a Twinflame coin trades on a bonding curve until the curve is sold out. It then moves into its own PumpSwap pool, still paired with the same token.
- The final buy on the curve has no size cap. Pump.fun fills the remainder at the price the pool will open at. Until the pool exists, the coin shows as Graduating and is priced at that opening price.
- Fees keep flowing after graduation. The pool's creator fees go to the same burner and are burned the same way.
- Explore shows graduated coins and coins still on their curve in separate lists.
Trust and security
| Who can move a coin's fees? | Nobody. They sit in an address with no private key, and the only thing the program can do with them is burn. |
|---|---|
| Can the creator redirect fees? | No. The creator is set to the burner inside the same transaction that creates the coin. |
| Can Twinflame redirect fees? | No. Twinflame holds no key for any burner. |
| Can the program change? | Its upgrade status is public on Solscan. Twinflame plans to make it immutable, after which nobody can alter it. |
| Can I check the burns? | Yes. Every burner, every burn transaction and the program itself are linked from the site. |
FAQ
Why burn instead of buying the pair back?
Fees arrive already denominated in the pair token, so a buyback would be buying something you already hold. Burning removes it from supply permanently, which is the result a buyback-and-burn is after, minus the extra step.
Who shows as the creator on pump.fun?
The coin's burner address, which is what makes every creator fee burn. The coin's page on Twinflame shows who actually launched it, and your first buy appears as a buy from your wallet.
Where do my first-buy tokens go?
Straight to the wallet you launched from, inside the launch transaction.
Can I change the pair or the fee rate later?
No. Both are locked in when the coin is created.
Why does my coin show Graduating?
Its curve has sold out and its PumpSwap pool is being opened. This normally takes a few moments, and the price shown is the pool's opening price.
Does Twinflame take a cut?
No. Every creator fee goes to burning the pair.
